Well, basically it is for free.
Let me explain. By now, you may be one of the millions of people who seems to be on the internet all day. You spend time on Facebook, Twitter, My Space, you name it. The social network sites are based upon a belief system of creating relationships. Now, if you have ever paid attention to anything anyone (including me) have been saying about job searches; using soft contact s to recruit you or get you referrals for jobs. So, you may say you don't have any contacts.....but wait..are you sure? What about your contact list on Linked In, Facebook, forums you haunt? Do any of those folks know you are even looking for a job? Once you start to look outside the proverbial box, and examine your relationships there is no limit to where you may reach. Embrace technology and use it to solve your job search. Instead of only looking at only job boards, looking in the phone book, or whatever you are doing make sure you put on your to do list "ask my social network friends" or "network" on that list.
